Furry Friday – Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope every one of you had a wonderful holiday surrounded by loved ones and too much pie.  We enjoyed our turkey and fixings, and Gidget McFidget and Bruce Wayne had a little shredded turkey breast and baked sweet potato for their dinner.  They both enjoyed it and followed up with a nap on the sofa.

We had a quiet day, watching America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade held right here in Detroit, followed by the Detroit Lions delivering another turkey against Green Bay.

After dinner, we watched the Wizard of Oz and lay around in a turkey-induced coma, nibbling on pie and cuddling in front of the fireplace.

Today, we are staying away from the madhouse at the stores and staying warm and cozy in the house.  This afternoon, I will be making turkey-slop with the turkey giblets. I’m sure Bruce will be very excited.

Wishing you a lovely and relaxing long weekend before we all launch into the madness of the holiday season.
