Dawn is a writer of poetry, essays, and short fiction. She has recently resumed writing after a long hiatus and is currently working on her book of poetry “Bittersweet Gift,” and a memoir whose title changes daily. She has survived two heart transplants, and her writing often reflects the accompanying struggle. When she is not writing, she spends time with her two dogs and her husband, who indulges her dog obsession.
